Colorful Spring Fresno Wedding

First comes love, then comes a wedding with the dreamiest colorful spring Fresno wedding color pallet around! Hannah and Sawyer were dream clients. Not just in style, but as humans. They have such vibrant, quirky, loving personalities and it really showed on their wedding day. Hannah is a fan of the details, like a BIG fan. So naturally, I’m a big fan of her. She’s like my muse, and I basically want to be her best friend. (Okay Hannah!?) When I arrived at Ziveli Winery I made sure there would be a good chunk of time for the flat lay. Ah, the art of the flat lay, am I right?

I knew there would be so many little details that I even painted my own flat lay canvas to complete her pastel rainbow pallet and tie it all together. Let me tell you, this was the most fun I’ve ever had on the details! From the shoes to the tables, and the bridesmaid’s basket bouquets, it was quite the dream event! Me and Katie couldn’t stop photographing everything. Can you blame us?

Then there were the guys! Sawyer decked out in his floral tie and dusty blue suit, while the guys all had unique floral bow ties and suspenders! It’s such a simple look but still made an impact on the overall esthetic. “Less is more” when it comes to the guy’s wardrobes that complemented the overall color theme!  Again, Hannah is a genius designer and creative! You can totally check out her Instagram for more of her style!

Hannah and Sawyer had a fun first look too! She had a lot of streamers set up around her wedding that made for some fun movement. I think the thing I loved the most was that she embraced the imperfect. Even though she was so detail oriented, Hannah’s style of just natural fun shines through. It brought me back to the workshop I did in Vegas years ago that was full of such color! I don’t get to shoot color that often, so this wedding fueled me creatively and changed how I shoot! Hannah allowed me to fully take creative control, which is hard for brides to do. (haha) Because of it, I feel like she helped me genuinely grow. I’ll be forever grateful for her trust, and her vision.

The ceremony space was simplistic, and handmade with love! The sweetest part, was that everyone took communion together and she had handprinted lady bugs at the seating. Creating wedding elements that are special to you and those around you can set your wedding apart. These two were really focused on including everyone they love to be apart of their union, not just witness it. I think that is truly special.

The florals were done by Floral Flower Co. who is the queen of whimsical, romantic floral designs! She knocked Hannah’s vision out of the park, and being that florals are my favorite I think I overshot this one because I loved it so much. She created a really full arch, that looked effortless and free. Which is kind of exactly how I’d describe Hannah’s style. Flowers are so important to me, they bring the whole vision together. And for this local Fresno colorful spring  wedding, it couldn’t have been more perfect.

Not only was the whole ceremony beautiful and sweet, the groomsmen played a joke on the couple and went on a hunt for the rings! It was pretty thorough and funny! You can’t beat a sentimental ceremony with humor.

My favorite aspect of this wedding was the bridesmaids! They all had their own individual color and matching bouquet! It was pure gold! Mixing cool, whimsical and rainbow is such a seemingly hard task, but again, Hannah makes it effortless. Letting your girls be comfortable in a dress of their picking, and individualized with their own color is something you don’t see everyday.

Hannah had an outfit change during the cocktail ROCK BAND part of the day. They were introduced into it so they could be a part of the experience with their guests too! Having live music was so fun, and everyone loved it!

The reception was no different! Everything that was used was thrifted or second hand! The special touches of the nick-nacks created such a nostalgic feel to their reception tables! Paired with the beautiful pops of floral throughout, we couldn’t help but take a million photos of it! Each table also had an individual cake that they had everyone participate in the cake cutting with too! Fully making their guests feel like part of their story was the theme of the night. Everyone remembers those moments the most!
