Scott Family Ranch Engagement | Clovis, CA

When vendors and other creatives get involved to collaborate it is truly magical! This styled engagement was held at the Scott Family Ranch in Clovis, CA was put together by Toni, of the Fresno Photogs Group!

I have been waiting to get in on one of these styled sessions, and had my first opportunity! The Scott Family Ranch in Clovis was the perfect setting for this boho inspired engagement shoot too! There were wildflowers, a beautiful barn, and a cool old truck to play with! We started in the barn with all the beautiful designed table scape, florals and rentals. There was a hint of harsh light on the side of the table that I just gravitated towards. I’m a suck for light, and equally challenged!

Of course I love when vendors get involved and collaborate because it levels the playing field in a big way! I believe every photographer should do things like this for themselves! It not only just fuels your creativity, but it keeps you going when you start to get burnt out. Not to mention you get to watch other creatives work, hang out and laugh, pop champagne, and learn from each other. As a result, I met some really cool people! We are all on our own paths that are equally busy, so it’s fun to get to know this community! In fact, I can’t wait to see everyones perspectives too! Thanks to Toni G. Photo for coordinating and hosting this event, it was great!

To sum up the entire experience, I had a blast and made some new friends!

In fact, I started my own styled shoot out community called Shoot the Shit, and some of the same girls will be attending the next events I have planned! I was really appreciative that Toni was so receptive to my styling some shoots of my own because I’ve always had a passion for it. She just showed me how to use that passion for more than just my own business! In other words, she’s the sweetest!
